Join fellow members for a special off-site gathering in honor of Black History Month! This unique meetup is designed to be an insightful and engaging journey through the profound contributions of Black Americans to history, culture, and, especially, sports.

​We will spend the morning exploring the museum's impactful exhibits, with a special focus on the inspiring history of Black Americans in sports and culture.

• ​BGC Snapback Photo: Throw on your BGC snapback for a professional group photo in the museum’s main atrium. Documenting our collective presence, celebrate our community, and create a lasting memory of our time exploring the rich tapestry of Black history and culture.

• ​The Power of Sports: Discover the stories of pioneering Black athletes—including legendary figures in golf, baseball, basketball, and more—who broke barriers, changed the game, and championed civil rights both on and off the field.

• ​Cultural Exploration: Engage with exhibits showcasing the vast influence of Black creativity, art, music, and innovation on American and global culture.

• ​Complimentary Lunch: We will conclude our visit by gathering at the museum's highly-regarded café for lunch and an opportunity to share reflections and fellowship with one another.
